Make it yours in 4 steps
1
Know where the content lives
Programme (events and exhibitions) and Objects (the collection) are the two CMS collections, and each item’s Plate Colour picks its sweep. Opening hours, admission and the address come from one component, Visiting, which feeds the home-page ticket, the open-today pill in the header and the footer. The full week of hours, prices and the phone number are also typed on Visit, Access, Membership and Contact, so update those pages too.

Swap the images
Replace each photo inside its frame, so the crop and aspect ratio stay the same. The demo photos are AI-generated or graded stock, and every one is fine to replace. Object photos read best shot on a plain backdrop. Write new alt text for each photo.

Keep the fonts
Rokkitt and Atkinson Hyperlegible Next come from Framer’s font picker, so they are licence-safe to keep. There are no font files to upload or buy.

Choose where forms and payments go
There are seven forms: the newsletter on Home, Research, Schools and groups, Offer an object, Volunteer, Hire a space and Contact. Select each one, set where its submissions are sent in the form’s settings, then send yourself a test. Then connect the Donate and Join buttons to your real platforms: the two donation buttons on Support us and the five Join buttons on Membership open a demo page, /support. Select each button, set its link to your donation page or membership sign-up, then delete the /support page.

Go live on your own domain
Open Site Settings → Domains and add your domain.
A custom domain needs a paid site plan. The free plan publishes only to a free Framer domain.
Accession runs on the Basic site plan: it uses 2 CMS collections, Programme and Objects, and has 20 pages, within Basic’s 30-page limit. That is 22 while this guide and the /support demo page are here.

Before you publish
Replace all the sample content, including the museum’s name, Tarrow Ropewalk, and every object, date, price and photo.
Write each page’s title and description, then set the favicon and social image in Site Settings.
Set a destination for all seven forms, and test each one. Link the Donate and Join buttons to your real donation and membership platforms.
Keep the reduced-motion setting on in Site Settings. The hero’s Pause motion button stays either way.
Delete this guide page and its footer link, and the /support demo page once its buttons point to your platforms.
